Is buying 2 5GH/s BFL rigs a good idea? : BitcoinMining

Setting up 3x7970s, need help getting them to run...

I'm building a 3x7970 box for bitcoin, hashcat, etc and am using this board:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130289
MSI Big Bang-XPower LGA 1366 Intel X58
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Big-Bang-XPower.html#?div=Detail
I have read the manual and for the life of me I can't get all 3 cards recognized. I can get two recognized in control panel & catalyst center no problem. All cards are functional - just not all 3 at the same time. From what I read the board should support all 3...am I wrong? Help please!

[Build Help] Not sure about 3-way CrossFireX

So let me preface this part list with a little background to explain the weird part selection. My friend and I are looking to get into Bitcoin mining, and it was recommended that we go with a 3x7970 GPU configuration. Will this motherboard/case/GPU combination work in CrossFire configuration? And will the power supply be enough? PCPartPicker has never steered me wrong before, but I've never tried to use CrossFireX, so I don't want to buy something I'll without getting a second opinion...

Mining Coins Learn what all the buzz is around in the world today. Bitcoin is a great way to keep some of your money outside of the mainstream banking system. Been sitting on a small amount of coins for some time now, value is now enough that I can afford a couple of mining rigs with it. Should I invest?... That's a badass thing you have my bro. Just buy some 4k monitor and start 4k gaming and watching awesome 4k videos even movies. You can play games in immersive 3D with this kind of stuff. I suggest buy oculus rift or any other but virtual reality ... "Funktionieren" tun sie erstmal ähnlich, die meisten basieren auf dem Bitcoin Prinzip mit leichten Veränderungen am Erzeugungsalgorithmus. Das Risiko ist das gleiche wie bei Bitcoins, wenn sich keiner mehr dafür interessiert sind sie wertlos. Die einzige Frage ist, welche Coins am Ende wirklich zum bezahlen verwendet werden. Nachdem hunderte alternative Coins aus dem Boden schießen ist das ... All in all, my 3x7970 mining rig would set me back ~US$1,870 (including the GPUs, mobo, CPU, casing, PSU, RAM and HD)... at a cost of $0.96 per Mh/s. Hope this helps. level 2 . WebWolf7. That cost per board seems pretty high, here is the Gigabyte board that is mentioned in a few comments, support for 4 (and I think 5, with proper power connectors) GPUs ...
